Friends, family, church communities, and organizations:
Last weekend at the box office we ignited some small fires across this land - but now is the time to fan those flames and embers to help continue to spread Because of Grácia for greater impact and to make headway with today's youth and families.
We most definitely need your help in order to do it.
Coming out of last week and opening weekend, we made some discoveries which prompted us to come up with some new strategies to continue to strike while embers are hot and see Because of Grácia build and grow.
Some of our observations -

Last week in social media we ran contests in all markets for someone in each market to receive (2) tickets to Because of Grácia at their local theater on opening weekend.
Youth and parents went crazy! Part of the requirements in order to be eligible to win the ticket was to make a comment and tag a friend. This exploded. They became verbal, excited, and champions for Because of Grácia - and without even seeing it yet.
BUT it got even better. AFTER the winners claimed their tickets they came out of the BOG showing as ADVOCATES for Because of Grácia. They were posting 5 STAR ratings for our film and telling their friends and family they MUST see the film. We just multiplied our marketing team by birthing passionate champions for the film overnight. Highly effective - and highly contagious. In addition, every single contest winner claimed and redeemed their tickets.
We saw youth in general being impacted and not necessarily tied to a church or youth group or an organization. This is our TARGET demographic for the film and our TARGET market in regards to ministry.
What does this mean for you and for us?
We need to have more contests and give away more tickets. The excitement with the contest is contagious and spreads like wildfire in that social community (and that's what we want - a fire!).
Now let's paint a better and clearer picture as to where you can fit in;
What if a man of God stepped out in faith and underwrote a theater buy-out for 500 to 1000 tickets? We would simply purchase group tickets, hold contests in those markets, distribute the winning tickets, and continue to build fans, followers, and champions who help us continue to grow Because of Grácia and spread the message. Instead of (2) people inside the theater (contest winner per market) - the entire theater was filled with contest winners. The EXCITEMENT would be off the charts and it would spread - really, really BIG.
Now let's take it up a notch; what if a man of God stepped up to the plate and bought a theater for his church youth group or an organization that caters to youth? We would simply reserve seats for the youth in that church group - and allow every other seat in the theater to be filled by youth in their community who are contest winners. Not only a prime evengelistic opportunity, but a cool way for that church to step up and step in and to say at the end of the showing, "We are here for you - and we are just down the street. If you or anyone you know is struggling with an unplanned pregnancy we have pastors and leaders willing and able to talk with you. If you are struggling with questions about faith and religion and God, we are here to talk with you. If you need a friend - we are here to walk beside you."
What an incredible outreach opportunity for any church and group.
What if 100 men/women in each market bought (10) tickets for us to distribute?
What if Christian youth each bought (1) ticket to donate peer-to-peer?
I often speak to encourage men of faith to give to worthy causes, ministries, missions and organizations - and there is one statement I always make because it's true. That statement;
The entire world - and things of this world - have millions of men and women that will give to its causes and investment opportunities - but it is ONLY men of God who can and will give to kingdom-building and ministry. So, men of faith - step up to the plate. This is your opportunity, this is your call, and now is your time!
No amount is too small (donate a ticket), nor a vision too great (underwrite theaters) for us to work together to make something mighty happen. Thank you.

- Many churches and groups are no longer willing or able to purchase bulk tickets to ensure a successful opening weekend (the number one thing that helps determine the life of a movie in theaters).
- Many churches and groups have no way in which to distribute tickets or fill theaters or take on the logistics in order to do so.
- Some people are willing to underwrite tickets - whether 2, 10, 100 or 1000, but are uncertain how to donate and concerned with the distribution of those tickets.
